Artist Open Call!!
We are now accepting entries for our next Artist Open Call!
We’re excited to provide an outlet for local artists to display their works. This community focused program invites all local Vancouver Island artists and encourages BIPOC and Queer artists to submit their work to display on our walls. Here is how this program works:
-You, the artist, submits an application by emailing us with a 150 word artists statement along with clear photos of 1-5 works of art they would like to display on our walls. Along with the photos, please include dimensions of each of the works. The maximum dimension of the display area we can accommodate is 23’’ tall x 30’’ wide.
-If your work is selected, we will reach out to you with exhibit dates as well as next steps. Once your art goes up on our walls we will display your artist statement and contact information in our dining room as well as do a shout out through our social media and/or newsletter. Your selected work(s) will be up on exhibit for 6-8 weeks.
-If you choose to have your artwork up for sale you are welcome to do so and 100% of the proceeds go to you, we just ask that your work stays on our walls until the end of the exhibit time, and that you conduct all business directly and privately with the buyers.
If you would like to apply please send us an e-mail to contact@partandparcel.ca and make sure to include your artist statement and photos and dimensions of your work. We look forward to hearing from you!!
The entry deadline this round will be April 19th, don’t sleep on it!
