BK Wines was established in 2007 by Brendon and Kirstyn Keys as a single vineyard winery in Adelaide Hills. After learning from masters in NZ, Argentina and California, we trained our sites on the Adelaide Hills because it’s just a cracking great place to live and make wine. With no pretentions to be somewhere it’s not and few preconceived notions about what wine styles to expect, this is a place where non-conformity is the rule. Our little winery and vineyard is situated in the Hills where it is tucked away surrounded by native bush land, koalas and an abundant birdlife.
Brendon’s greatest strengths as a winemaker are his passion for artistic expression and his uncompromising quest for high-quality fruit. When it comes to the process of winemaking, Brendon’s goal, first and foremost, is to source exceptional small sustainable vineyards producing grapes that reflect the individuality of a particular site. As a winemaker he uses a minimalist approach to gently guide well-chosen fruit to a beautiful final result in the bottle. This combination of an artistic soul and unyielding quality standards makes Brendon a recognised master of his craft.
We are always on the lookout for new special events to host at our restaurant. If you are a Chef or Hospitality professional and you would like to work with us on our next special event or pop-up please reach out to us, contact@partandparcel.ca.

October 2th 2024. Wine Dinner with Ursa Major Wines
We invite you to join us on the evening of October 24th for a fun night discovering the creations of winemaker Rajen Toor, of Ursa Major Wines. We will feature a variety of their latest releases, including many unreleased small batch wines, along with a carefully curated food menu.
Chef Nick Maharaj will create a special menu for this night, with pairings for each of the wines as well as other playful and delicious sharing bites.
Each of the wines we pour this evening inspired Rajen Toor to write a poem, we will share his poetry to help guide you through your tastings, as well as to keep as a memento of this special evening.
What started out as a side project has become one of the most brilliant natural wine projects to emerge out of the Okanagan Valley. Born and raised on his family’s vineyard, Rajen Toor launched Ursa Major while working as a winemaker at Desert Hills. Named after the constellation and a particularly voracious black bear that would eat tons of grapes right before harvest, Ursa Major’s wines are entire revelations, free-spirited takes on grapes and styles we know and love. Rajen’s style, emphasizing purity, place and personality, are undoubtedly at the forefront of a new generation of young, BC winemakers eager to blow your mind.
To keep things fun and casual, food and wine ordering will be a la carte, no reservation fee or minimum spend. We will have lots of wine, short pours, long pours, and by the bottle offerings.
Bring your thirst, bring your appetite, and choose your own adventure as you explore the best of small production wines that BC has to offer.
